What's Your Favorite Summertime Getaway?

My favorite getaway, by far, is taking a cruise! We recently sailed on Oasis of the Seas (an Oasis-class cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean International) and had another amazing time! Our favorite spot of the ship: The Rising Tide. You could call it a wet elevator. It’s also the coolest way to get from Central Park to the Royal Promenade.

Our ports were Philipsburg, St. Maarten, Labadee, Haiti, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. There's always something to see and plenty of new territory to explore ⌄

San Juan, Puerto Rico

A weathered door at the San Cristóbal dungeon in San Juan. In general, this port was a masterpiece of 18th century military engineering and innovation. (More details on the fort can be found on the National Park Service website).

Tony is about to dive into a plate of pizza at our favorite promenade eatery - Sorrento's Pizza! Open all hours of the day and night (making it way too convenient to pass up). ⌄
