If you’re like me, your mailbox gets flooded daily with unwanted emails, sales and promotions.
You never think about how many times you’ve inadvertently “subscribed” just to get that 10% off coupon. But then you realize you’re wasting your entire cup of coffee every morning mindlessly swiping ‘delete’…’delete’…’delete’… just to filter out all the generic messages.
Today I’ve got three simple solutions to make sure you don’t end up on the ‘outs’ in the inbox...
1) Use Emojis in your Subject Line
"You never get a second chance to make a first impression!”
With only a split second to catch the attention of your reader, make sure your subject line includes a bold, direct message and an eye-catching emoji or two. Use them sparingly, but utilize visuals to invite your reader to want to read more!
2) Less Is More When It Comes To Words
“Brevity is the soul of wit”
Make it your aim to say in a few sentences what others say in a whole chapter. Attention spans are short and ain’t nobody got time to read a long email. Keep it simple and sweet and get to your point promptly, clearly and humorously whenever possible.
3) Make It Visually Appealing
“A picture is worth a thousand words”
Stunning graphics and professional design will keep your reader engaged. Use product photos where possible or professional stock photos to up your game.
